I received this product at no charge from Innokin for the purpose of doing a video, Therefore it has no monetary value to me. This video is my opinions and experiences with the product, and is in no way intended to be the final hammer of judgment.
Now then, If you dig the original iTaste MVP, chances are you will also dig the iTaste MVP V2. The V2 adds variable wattage as well as an OHM checker into the mix. I cant find any information about the Amp limit on the switch, but the MVP V2 will not be able to fire “sub-ohm” builds, although it will read their ohms.
Is it worth upgrading from an MVP V1? That really depends on how important an OHM checker and VW is for you. I got along without an OHM checker on my MVP V1 for a long time. The Variable wattage is very nice to have.
The form factor is the same. I forgot to mention this in the video, but the dimensions of the MVP 2 are slightly different. I tried applying a J-Wraps wrap from the V1 on the V2 and it didn’t quite line up correctly. So you will need to get a NEW wrap for the V2 if you want to go down that road, just a heads up.
If you don’t have an MVP yet. This is the one to buy, variable voltage / wattage. Ohm checker. Internal 2600mah battery charged via USB. Ego style connection, 5V USB out for charging smartphones. It’s really a great little package IMO.
thanks for watching everyone!
