Joyetech Batpack Mini-Review https://ift.tt/2rPkH5C

Preface: I was going to reply to the single thread I found searching for 'Batpack' but that turned into a review so here it is.

I got the Joyetech Batpack a week ago. I was looking for a replacement to my Suorin Drop because I dropped it. Well I wasn't really looking but it was on display at my LVS and I really really like small things.

Against my Reuleaux RX75 / Uwell Crown Mini III this thing is a dwarf but once you compare it to the Aspire Breeze then you realize that its not too small. It fits well in the hand and it seems to be sturdily built. For its size it has some weight to it but thats mostly because of the batteries.

Yes, it uses AA batteries however I already have some rechargeable AA in circulation thanks to various cameras and other electronic bits so there's no buy in for more batteries or a charger but the batteries included in the kit are rechargeable so that was a nice plus. It would be really convenient if I were on a trip and needed new batteries, because I havent found many convenience stores selling 18650s that my everything else uses. Battery life? I dunno, I haven't run out yet but its not my main so it might be a little bit longer. I'm interested to see what rechargeable batteries perform best in this.

How does it vape? It's good. Not amazing, not a purchase I regret, but I have a feeling it will grow on me. It's got pretty darn good flavor and I dont even like the flavor I have in it. Its mostly due to the restricted airflow, which is more than the Drop, and less than the Breeze. This is due to it being a MTL device but I have a feeling you could drill out the holes ever so slightly if you wanted a tad bit more airflow.

EDIT: OH! The one thing I really dislike about this thing. The placement of the airholes right at the bottom of the mouthpiece. It's really easy to block them depending on how you use it, so be wary of that.

tl;dr

What would I rate it? A solid 5/7, and that's only partially a meme. Like its perfect for what it is, but its not quite what it could be. It's a solid build, the AA batteries aren't too gimmicky if you already have some rechargables in circulation, and the atomizer produces a decent vape.
