Throwback Thursday: First time Here? Read This First https://ift.tt/2termHx

This is a project I agreed to take on after it was pointed out that so many of the resources in sidebar and wiki are ancient. The idea is, rather than revising them myself, I'd post them here once per week to gather feedback on how to improve them. They belong to all of us, everyone should have a say in what they say.

Let's start with the easiest one, just to get the ball rolling:

HI and WELCOME to /r/DIY_eJuice. We are glad you paid us a visit!!!

If you are completely new to DIY, before you submit new content, we would like to point you towards our handy and helpful wiki guides and our sidebar.

These wiki and sidebar guides have been compiled by our Mod team and experienced users who want to help you get the most from your DIY experience and they cover a large percentage of the basic questions you may have as well as more in-depth material.

They include (links/references) to things like What Gear Do I Need?, Ejuice Clone Recipe Threads, User Created Recipes, Flavoring Reviews, Mixing Calculators and so on.

Please make use of these. They will be a valuable tool as you start your DIY journey.

If your questions are not answered there or you are confused please post. The more information you give us about your question/concern/experience, the more helpful we can be.

Thank You

If you click on the first sidebar link, "Wiki/FAQ Index," and then go to first link in there "First time here? Please read this first," this is your welcome to our subreddit.

These topics will get meatier as the weeks go by, this is a light one mostly just to introduce the Throwback Thursday project. But, what, if anything, would you add/remove/revise in order to improve this "Read this First" page in the wiki? What would you like to say to welcome a first-time visitor to your /r/DIY_ejuice?
