Foggy Memories Oumier Wasp Nano Review https://ift.tt/2Lga2cJ

Hello there again people of ECR. I'm back again with yet another Foggy Memory review for you all. This time we are gonna be taking a look at the new Oumier Wasp Nano single coil rda. It's basically legendary squonk rda. This device was sent to me for review by BuyBest which won't effect my opinion of the item but is very cool of them to provide it for us to discuss here today.

I had a suggestion the other day to include an Album of pictures with my review to be easier then clicking every picture as you go. Well, I hadn't ever really thought about it but it was very easy to do. It's probably time to change up the format of Foggy Memories a little so there ya go.

Packaging

The Oumier Wasp Nano comes in a small box with a honeycomb graphic with a Wasp on the front. The side has a contents list. Open the box up and you find a Wasp Nano rda sitting on top. Lift that tray and find the accessories for the Wasp Nano. A squonk pin, extra post screws, extra o-rings, a screwdriver and cotton.

Wasp Nano

So the Wasp Nano is a 22mm, single coil Rda. Instead of two posts, it's two blocks which each has a screw to loosen for the coil to go in. Each block also has a hole the the center that brings airflow in towards the coil. The top cap is a one piece cap with two airflow slots that allows you to adjust the amount of air be twisting the cap and making the holes larger or smaller with the posts blocking the holes. The Wasp Nano comes is bunches of colors and I believe some are different materials. This is called the Transparent Gold and I'm not exactly sure what it's made of. It's thick enough to not get warm when vaping and has a little flex to it when you squeeze it but seems durable enough to not worry about it breaking or deforming. The bottom of the rda has the Wasp logo and comes with a solid 510 pin installed and a squonk 510 is in the box. I'm going to be using this rda on a squonk mod so swapping out the 510 was one of my first things to do.

Performance

Installing coils in the little Wasp Nano is simple. You simply need a coil that has the leads going in opposite directions, loosen the grub screw and slide it in. A large 3mm quad core clapton has no problem at all fitting inside this rda. Throw some cotton through the coil and your ready to vape. It's very easy to see thru the airflow at the coil and fine tune where you want the airflow to hit your coil. The flavor and vapor production have been great but with rebuildables, your build and coil placement dictates how well it works. This guy isn't hard to get working correctly though. Sometimes you get a whistle from this rda and that will have to do with a few different factors. How hard your inhaling, coil size and height and even your cotton can play a role in the whistle. It doesn't always do it but a little tinkering can get it to be more quiet. Squonk action on the rda is great. I was able to soak the coil with a squeeze on my squonk bottle and only had leaking once when I was trying to see how much I could squonk. Some juice gets between the post blocks and the cap but because of the rim on the bottom, it hasn't come out on me. The squonk pin is the type with a slit all the way across so it's not a perfect seal on the 510. This may cause a little wetness at the bottom but not a lot.

Conclusion

The Oumier Wasp Nano is already well regarded as a great single coil squonk rda. I kept meaning to get one and was always busy with other stuff so when I was asked to review it, I jumped at the chance. For under $15, you can't get any other vape product that's gonna give you this nice of a vape. It's also a cheap way to try out the this style of single coil rda before you pull the trigger on something more expensive. It's definitely gonna be on my Pico Squeeze 2 for a little while. If it wasn't for the slight whistle, I couldn't really fault it for anything. For this kinda price and performance, I think a slight whistle is pretty tolerable.

Thanks for reading, I really appreciate it. I really want to thank BuyBest for providing the item for us to discuss here today. They are actually having a 10% off sale right now thru July 17th so check them out. I've got a bunch more Foggy Memories coming very soon so I'll be back. In the meantime you can see what I'm up to on Instagram as Velvetfog_ or find me on Twitter or Facebook. I'll be back soon and everyone have a great evening.
