Cleaning prebuild coils https://ift.tt/2Nz2wu1

So I will get my first Vape in a few days and I would use prebuild coils, as it just seems generally more easy for me and money is not that much of a problem. I've heard that you could highten the lifespan of a coil by cleaning it, problem is, I don't really imagine how this is possible, since I can't take the individual parts out. I've also read that I could just lay them into boiling water / vinegar and it would clean itself after some time, and that it would just need to dry for a bit and after that it's like new. Am I right with all this / would it be bad or have any negative side effects if I would do any of the two listed options ?
