First off, price point. From most vendors, you are looking for somewhere between $8-$11 for 3 coilheads from most major vendors.

So, I'm sure many of you have the Freemax Mesh Pro, which these coils were mainly designed for. I'm sure you have tried the single, the dual, and maybe even the triple mesh coilheads. Freemax took it a step further and added, yep, you guessed it, another mesh coil.

Freemax rated these coils best at 80-120W, so I would not recommend using this coilhead on a single battery device (to preserve battery life). This coil was designed to really throw out big clouds on high power settings. Personally, I found the lower tolerance, 80W, to be a tad bit weak and cold of a vape. 120W, the upper tolerance, was a tad too much, and a lot of flavor was lost. The perfect medium, to me, was at 100-110W.

The flavor coming off of this coil head was, simply put, good. Just good. I did NOT notice a vast improvement from the triple mesh in terms of flavor. Most flavors came out well and pronounced all together, but you don't get the high high's or the strong bases.

Cons? I did notice though that this coil head simply CHUGS juice. For those that have tried the triple mesh, you know how much that guzzles. These coils hit marginally "harder" but uses that much more juice. So, if you are juice-frugal, I do NOT recommend this coil head for you.

The biggest pro, to me, was the lifespan of the coil. I have been using the first coil, although sparingly, for 2 weeks so far with minimal to no flavor reduction.

The verdict? I would not lean heavily towards a strong yes here. but it is NOT a bad coil by any means. In my opinion, for overall balance of great flavor, battery life, in reasonable juice consumption, you cannot go wrong with the single or dual mesh. To me, the dual mesh is still the one to beat.

Relevant, but not really, opinion: This coil is YUUUUUGE! Check out the size in comparison to the Wasp!
