How to accurately measure with syringes? http://bit.ly/2VOvbAj

I'm using leur locks. Where I am I have no access to any other types of syringes and I do not have the ability to purchase a scale currently; so make do with what ya got, right?

I dont have the ability to measure with the larger needles WITHOUT the actual blunt tip needle portion on it, so I was wondering about displacement and accuracy.

Do I want to draw back, then depress yo dispell any air in it to make it a more accurate read.

Then, pull back till the bottom of the plunger (miniscus)[rounded portion or the plunger] to where the number is, say 10, then simply depress all the way into the juice receptacle of my choice (the mix). And THEN I'm finished with that part? Does that make it an accurate read???

I wouldnt pull back the plunger a second time to pull air in and then push back out to dispense what's left over right?? Because AFAIK, due to displacement, there will still be a leftover extra amount in the needle as there was when I first drew in to it and displaced the air.

(Afaik I would ONLY depress the plunger a 2nd time if I didnt do the first bit to get the air out of it, resulting in the need for that liquid due to the fact that when you measure without the second depression, there is air in the syringe)
