Is vaping (nicotine) actually bad for your health? https://ift.tt/39jJTVR

Thoughts on this? Never smoked a cigarette in my life, but former vaper for one year. I recently quit and am 52 days. I have experienced little to no difference in my overall health. My lung capacity seems about the same and I still get heartburn with or without it. Now this is probably the nicotine talking, lol, but I feel like vaping made life so much better. I was relaxed and not anxious and I was able to focus more. I constantly have it on my mind; even after quitting. I have done a tremendous amount of research but nothing provides any evidence that vaping is detrimental to your health outside of nicotine dependance. For example: A juul pod. There’s 5 ingredients in a juul pods, and they don’t contain diacetyl. Out of researching those chemicals, they don’t really seem that harmful? The United Kingdom has deemed vaping 95% safer than cigarette smoking, there hasn’t been a reported death of strictly vaping, and all of the reports suggesting vaping is killing people is linked to vaping marijuana cartridges. I know there is no long term study on this though. Another thing I think of is how cigarettes are actually bad for you. Nicotine in cigarettes isn’t the culprit for when people get lung cancer; the tar is. Vaping doesn’t contain anything close to tar and isn’t combusted. So everything of what I’ve ever looked into points that vaping isn’t really all that bad for you besides the nicotine addiction. Yet, the cdc still puts it in the same boat as cigs… But who doesn’t love nicotine, honestly?? Are there any long time vapers that could give their 2 cents on this controversy? Thanks!
