More people should know that Legalise Vaping Australia is part of the Australian Taxpayers Alliance https://ift.tt/2CL4rM5

Firstly, I fully support the legalisation of vaping in Australia, and I recognise that the team behind Legalise Vaping Australia has done a tremendous job. Nevertheless, I still think it’s important for people to be sceptical of lobby groups, and recognise that they have other agendas that may or may not align with your values.

I’ll try make this as apolitical as possible, because vaping should be first and foremost an issue of public health. However, I’d encourage you to google the Australian Taxpayers Alliance and read up about the kind of policies they support (they’re basically libertarians). Most notably:

I personally find the Australian Taxpayers Alliance incredibly sketchy, and I'm not comfortable with their links to the tabacco industry, but I’ll leave it up to people to make their own opinions. I think our recent win has shown that we are a political force to reckon with, however it also means we should be extra wary about those who use vaping as a political tool to sway voters towards other agendas.
