Tired of the basic vapes, looking for something more satisfying? https://ift.tt/3hsx4w9

I’ve been vaping for about a year now. I have been using the real basic, cheap, disposable vape devices like the Voopoo Drag Nano (I went through 4 of those…) and now I’m using a Smok Nord. I am using 12 mg nicotine, working on going down to 6 or so around New Years.

I’m getting tired of the inconsistent pulls. It seems like the longer I use this unit, the less consistent it gets. So far I’ve noticed 2 different things about my vape – 1, sometimes it doesn’t pull smoothly at all. I can suck/draw on it and it just feels restricted. And second, the flavor isn’t that great all the time.

Sometimes when I change coils, it’ll work better for a day or 2 but then gets “clogged” and/or tastes bland. I don’t hit it that often – maybe 20 times a day? I typically change coils once a week or once every other. For example, I changed coils on Monday and now it’s Friday, and I’m frustrated enough with it already that I found myself here asking for advice.

Now I’m not sure about different voltages, I know I have to use higher than 1 ohm coils if I’m using nic salts. I’m not opposed to using a more advanced unit, and one that isn’t so compact, if I am getting a consistently good pull and flavor.

Can any of you advise me, or is there a cheat sheet or anything I can look at/do to enter deeper into that realm? It’s so overwhelming from the outside.
