Issue with Hugo Squeezer mech mod https://ift.tt/3iMvlma

So I got the squeezer 2 months ago. Had no issues until about last month when I would push the fire button but wouldn't fire. So I take it out clean the internals, and it works alright for a week.

Now it just randomly decides when it does or doesn't want to fire. I cleaned it again last night used eraser and mouse pad to get arc marks off but there's still a small one right where it makes contact. It worked for an hour then stopped firing.

I've noticed that when it stops making a connection, if I just firmly mash on the fire button enough times it will start working again. I just can't figure out why mashing the button repeatedly is making any difference, it seems like it should either make a connection or not. Any ideas?

If it makes any difference Im running a .18 ohm build right now with the 20700 recommended by mooch. But I was still having the same issue with a .4 build so I don't think that's the reason.
