Sad and Confused about rebuildables – Help needed. https://ift.tt/34LnrVf

I bought a Blotto and Mini Blotto, because I watched what feels like 1000 Vids on how to build and wick it. It looked kinda easy. I also, as suggested on here and by Geelong Vape (Great Store BTW) a Multi pack of prebuilt Dovpo coils and the Coil Master DIY V3 Toolkit with mini tab.

So, Long story short. For some reason, I keep messing it up and I’ve chewed thru a fair few coils trying to get this right. I’m kinda getting a bit over it. I am only installing a single coil at this point time, until I get it down pat.

My issues are as follows:

When I install the coil, it seems to be touching the build deck, like the area around where the legs go into what I will call, post holes.

– Can the coils be stretched out as such, as to increase the space a little, so they don’t touch?

When I do get one in to what I think is correct, it doesn’t seem to touch, I cannot seem to get a stable ohm reading on the tab after pulsing and trying to work the hot spots. The Ohms fluctuate all over the shop.

– Could this be because I haven’t installed it correctly, or have I messed the pulsing up, I use the mini tab for this, it seems to fire a few times, then just stops. When I put it on my mod, it reads all over the shop and again, I get a Check Atomizer error or a short error after a few pulse fires.

– The build deck after this is ridiculously hot.

When using the bottle opener/tool that comes with the Blottos, I have put the coil at the bottom of the hole and top, to see leg length made any difference and cause less shortages.

I then gave up and decided to “build” my own coils, So I got the shitty wire that came in the toolkit and used the coiler and made a 7 wrap coil for practice, This wire is so fine, the coil came out to be about 3mm wide, so it’s way to narrow to fit in the post holes too.

I got one single coil (pre made to work), like it sorta read the same ohms for a while, I screwed up the wicking and juice went all over the joint, lol. This build deck too, was hot AF. As fas as I could tell, the ohms were not even close to what the packet said. Pretty sure I screwed that wicking up, So I can give that another crack.

I was going to purchase a Bonza RDA as these looked easy enough too, but after all this, (probably should have started with a simple RDA)

Maybe I should just stick to my pre made OFRF/Falcon Coils.

I need some help, really badly, Or Someone will be picking up a couple of cheap Blotto’s and a Tool kit 😊
