Smok stick 80w suddenly started tasting burnt no matter what I do? https://ift.tt/3k9caEs

So I've had the Smok stick for about 4 weeks now, everything was great and I was really enjoying the flavor I got from this little kit.

However about a week ago, when changed coils (from the pre-installed coil to the other included coil) everything started going down hill.

The second coil was amazing for about 2 days before it started tasting burnt, I was vaping at 60w flat, primed the coil and everything… anyways I figured I must have done something and burned the coil, so I got some new 0.25 coils since they were the only ones my local shop had in stock. the first one I put in literally gave me a burnt taste right from the start, I taught it might be residue so I kept vaping for about 2 tanks, and it just got worse, looking inside the coil its clearly burnt with a brownish discoloration. so I swapped out a new 0.25 coil and same deal immediately a burnt taste and discoloration in the center of the coil.

Now I didn't do anything I haven't done with the pre-installed coil, I primed it, and let it soak for a good 20 min before trying it… I even dropped the watts to 40 just to be sure, but still its just burning.

I should also mention that the new coils was bought in a 3pack and both the first and second felt like it was clogged up in a way, like the juice wasn't getting drawn into the coil, even tho I looked and made sure that the coil is soaked right to the center. next to no flavor and vapor.

Any ideas on what can be causing this? I just can think that 2 coils in a row would be duds?
