A question about Nicotine addiction vs just the physical habit. https://ift.tt/31fa9PH

I am really interested in hearing what some long time vapors say about how nicotine level affects them. This came up by accident. I will say that I have no plans on stopping vaping and it really was never goal I had in mind. I was lowering my nic level from a 6mg to a 3mg. I was a very very heavy smoker for years. I decided it was time to try and atleast step down to a 3mg because it was easier to find so I bought a bottle of 3mg and basically didn’t even notice the change. So since my juice collection is pretty large I started ordering the same juice I had in a 0mg and mixing them so I would have 3mg.

I realized a few days ago that I had been vaping on 0mg and just like the step down didn’t even notice the change. I’m curious about all of this because I was always told that it’s the nicotine that is the addiction or at least a very large part of it. Today I tried an experiment to see how I would be with out my vape and intentionally left it at home while gone for a few hours. It didn’t go well. The same thing that used to happen when I didn’t have my smokes or couldn’t sneak out for a bit happened.

Now I said in the beginning of this post I have no intentions of quitting and the only reason I even did this little experiment was for my own knowledge. I was always a royal asshole when I didn’t have my smokes and I was testing to see if it was the nicotine or the habit. I guess I know which it is so am I just an oddball or are there others who have figured out it’s not about the nicotine to them.
