Caliburn G Heads-up https://ift.tt/3asMW1T

I bought my G in mid October and have been very happy with it.

Recently, I noticed some leakage, similar to what you'd see with the original Caliburn. There was also a gap between the pod cap and the device itself. As time passed it got worse and I would say about 2 weeks after noticing the gap, the pod is mostly useless.

When this gap is present it acts like leaving the cap off and will leak all the juice. When it is small, you see very little leakage, but the other day it had gotten so bad that the entire pod leaked into the device and juice was leaking out of the USB-C port and the side air hole creating a big puddle.

This cannot be fixed by simply pressing down hard because it seems to be that the cap gets worn out from being removed and snapped back on. The only luck I've had is pressing down on the cap when I'm not using it to keep air from entering and leaking. Holding it for a long time does make the gap smaller for a little while, but you can still hear air entering around the gap. When you vape with it you need to press down on it with your teeth or lips to seal the gap.

Uwell is sending me a replacement pod, but I believe it is coming from China, like the last time I had warranty replacement, which took 30 days.

So I'm writing this to let people know that if you start to see this, I recommend getting a replacement pod ASAP. I'm hoping it's a one-off issue, but if it isn't we might see this happening more.

Edit: Also, if you experience any harsh/burnt/no flavor issues, try changing your charging source. I originally used an iPad charger and wasn't getting flavor and it seemed like it was burnt on each hit. I switched to using an Anker power bank to charge it and have had absolutely zero issues. Every hit of mango is like taking a bite of a fresh mango 🙂
