Leaking Caliburn pod fix https://ift.tt/2MfpICp
I've always had issues with Caliburn pods, it's always hit-or-miss for me. Tried several methods all of them to no avail.
Until a couple days ago with a fresh new pod, I started to notice something. I filled it up with eliquid to the MAX level and started priming it the old way, and used it. After a few minutes I realized it was leaking and turned out it was leaking badly, as in the space underneath the pod was completely flooded with juice.
Now normally in cases like these I would have thought that the pod was a dud, and I would have just thrown it away thinking that I couldn't use it.
I let it leak out, outside the mod of course… Then something interesting happened: at one point the leak stopped. Idea: what if I just refill the pod up to where it no longer leaks?
I tested this by filling the pod full again and it started leaking again to a point where it doesn't leak any further.
I marked the point mentally and just filled the pod up to that point. Never had any issues since.
Now I haven't tried this on any other pods but I suspect it'd be the same, I remember looking at old thrown pods and them still having liquids in them at the 30-50% mark.
TL;DR: Your fresh but leaking Caliburn pod is probably not a dud, you just need to fill it under where it wouldn't leak. You need to find out where that point is.
