It is my opinion that you should try the Caliburn G, instead of ordering more Caliburn/Koko pods. https://ift.tt/38Vg67A

I'm trying to quit vaping to not be addicted to nicotine. Until then, the Caliburn G seems to be a pod system that finally just, Works. I haven't seen a new post about it since the 1.0ohm "MTL" coils became available.

To be fair, I have not tried most pod systems. I can compare to the Apsire Breeze 2, Spryte, and Nautilus AIO (all horrendous pieces of shit imo). The original Caliburn/Koko and pods (decent, but now obsolete imo). The Uwell Crown Pod (oof). And the Juul 💸

Cons (imo, gonna stop saying imo, you get it): -Draw is still too loose to fully hit the throat and properly feel MTL. -Doesn't seem to have a crazy amount of battery life. But I'm able to charge mine at work. -Mouthpiece is slightly large and awkward?

Other than that, good shit! I was pessimistic, because of how they failed with the Crown Pod.

I was especially pessimistic about the coils. On those Aspire devices, they were fiddly bullshit and messy. The Caliburn G coils slide in smoothly and easily, and stay in place. And you don't have to empty the pod to change the coil.

It's been almost a month and I haven't had to change a coil yet. Using 35mg salt with the 1.0 pod. The only coil I roasted was due to user error (forgot to fill 🤦). That was the 0.8mesh. I got more coming in the mail. I have a feeling those are going to perfect for the 12mg regular juice I bought. The 0.8 mesh coil gives a slight bit more vapor that's a bit cooler, compared to the 1.0 regular ones.

I like what they did with the airflow. The hole is on one side of the pod, and one side of the device. If you insert the pod with the holes lined up, it's a bit more of a lung hit. If you rotate the pod and have the holes offset, it's a bit more MTL. It's not a dramatic difference, but it's a nice thought, and attention to detail.

The auto draw isn't intermittent and shitty like the Caliburn's was for me.

I'm not trying to tell people what to do. The Caliburn G is a scaled up Caliburn. It barely leaks, especially compared to Caliburn/Koko pods. And it hits with a lot more power. Being "underpowered" was a common Caliburn complaint.

What are your thoughts? Pros and cons, comparisons to other devices, etc?

People keep recommending the Caliburn to people in comments. I'm no smart person. I just think the G is definitely something to consider. Be Well! 🙏😊
