Hey, so, I am needing help figuring this out. Back in October I had been using my Zeus X Mesh every day for several months with no problems. Then I picked up a Fatality M25 that became my daily driver. I (stupidly, I know) left the juice I was using in my Zeus and it sat for probably a month or so. I like changes of pace so I would try to pick it up every once in a while but now it has a really strong almost metallic but not quite but definitely sort of sickly taste to it. I have tried:
- doing a deep clean with water, and when that didnt work, soap and water
- using different cotton brands
- using different juices (obviously)
- changing out the mesh, twice actually
If there were somehow any mold, I would have fixed it with my deep clean. It just tastes qualitatively different than it did when I was regularly using it, and I cannot figure out what to do which is a shame as I started to sort of miss mesh vaping. (And no worries, I have since taken to emptying, rinsing/drying, and removing cotton before I store a tank now)
