A small Vapefly Nicolas review – a good little MTL atomizer! https://ift.tt/35DeXk5
Hi everyone! I've started my vaoe journey with a pod system, namely Vaporesso Osmall. After that, I got an istick Pico (75W), a good-looking, stealthy, reliable mod. Seeing as I'm used to cigs, I looked for an MTL atomizer. I got recommendations for various attys and finally decided on Vapefly Nicolas.
It has been nothing but great using it. It features plug'n'play coils, which makes swapping them a super simple task. You can use 1.8 ohm coil with a nic salt, 0.6 ohm coil with freebase nic and even the 0.5 ohm mesh coil made for Vapefly Nautilus. I have been mostly using the .6 one, and haven't personally tasted a difference between it and the .5 mesh.
The tank's volume is 3 mL, which is just enough for a day of vaping for me. It's simple to refill, and I usually just wipe everything just in case with a paper towel after screwing the top back.
The air intake holes are where this atomizer shines. You can select any of the 5 different sized holes, as well as 1-5 of them together. This allows for a very nice and customizable inhale; I usually use 3 holes for a cig like intake, and when I'm outside I open all 5 of them.
My only complaint is this: sometimes when I want to unscrew the base to switch coils, I unscrew the tank, it can be hard to only unscrew the base. However, I usually manage this by not screwing the base too hard.
All in all, very satisfied by this little mtl. I don't think I need another atomizer for a while. Hope this review helps a bit if you're on edge about buying it 🙂
