Looking for a device to replace my Caliburn G, could use some help! https://ift.tt/3jT93RT
I had the OG Caliburn for one year before getting the Caliburn G. Main reasons for upgrading was I disliked the hit or miss pods I was getting in the first cali and how the micro usb port would wear out. but I'm so tired of the coils burning on the Cali G. I went through a pack of coils in less than a week and tested a different juice (all 50/50 or 60/40) in each one and all tasted horrible by the next day or the day after and had a dark line through the cotton window. I filled each one properly and let it sit 15+ min before using it. I really just do not want to get another cali.
One thing I want to avoid in a device is something I experienced in some cali pods, I noticed they would sting the back of my throat in an unusual way. I really didn't like that and it felt like almost saccharine sweetness and severe stinging (not throat hit-like at all) and this would happen on brand new pods a lot of the time.
The most important thing to me is reliability. I don't want something that has a high rate of faulty/easily burning pods or lots of leaking/spitback. For a new device I want something that charges with usb-c (or something other than micro-usb), simple form factor (juul design is still my favorite tbh, I much prefer automatic draws and would honestly like a device without a fire button if a good one exists), and pods (or coils) that last at least a few days to a week! Battery life isn't high on my list because I'm mostly at home. I prefer salts so something geared towards that is good, and refillable is a must, I do not want a pre-filled system. Disposable pods (like the og caliburn) is fine though. I also don't care about the amount of vapor produced. I've never branched out to anything more complicated than the replaceable coils in the cali G but am definitely open to it if it results in a more reliable/pleasant vape. As long as the form factor is fairly slim.
Some devices I am considering are the Aspire Favostix, Geekvape Wenax K1, and OXVA Origin/Origin X.
