Treatment of E-Cigarettes in the Mail
An unpublished Proposed Rule by the Postal Service on 02/19/2021
This document is unpublished. It is scheduled to be published on 02/19/2021.
Once it is published it will be available on this page in an official form. Until then, you can download the unpublished PDF version.
Some interesting stuff in that 10-page pdf regarding the definition of "ENDS", the timing of the Ban, etc.
Thirty-day public comment period starts Friday.
EDIT:
Iirc, congress gave USPS until April 26th to publish the final rule. The Ban is to begin immediately upon publication of the final rule.
Not sure, but apparently USPS can publish the final rule anytime between the end of the 30-day public comment period and April 26th. So assuming "30-days" means "30 business days", the Ban could start nearly 3 weeks earlier than expected, just after Easter.
Don't quote me though.
